Manimaran S Gopalakrishnan, 54, died on July 15, 2021. His nephew Kaveendra wrote: He is remembered as a generous and kind man, who always lent a helping hand in need. He was a loving son, brother, brother-in-law, nephew, uncle and a gentleman at heart. He was a big fan of rock and indie music, and loved listening to ACDC, Depeche Mode and the Bee Gees. He was also a die hard Manchester United fan till the end. He was actively involved in charity work until his last days, and would often deliver provisional goods to orphanages and old folks' homes. He was also the joy of any party and family dinners. He would often crack jokes and have everyone bursting out in laughter. I knew him best as my cool Periapa (older uncle), who would always bounce tattoo ideas with me as we both love tattoos. He will always be missed and remembered by his family and friends.

Anney ( brother ) to me who was always there for me to call and chat on anything and everything. Missing his good morning messages, the random calls in the morning to chat about family and world affairs . He has left a void in all of us.
