If you submit a tribute or comment about a loved one, who is memorialised on this website, we will collect the following:
- Your email address
We are collecting your data for several reasons, namely:
- To contact you if we have questions about your submission;
- To verify that you are not a robot;
- To publish the memorial message; and
- To alert you when the memorial message is uploaded.

We are committed to securing your data and keeping it confidential. We endeavour to prevent data theft, unauthorised access, and disclosure and will safeguard all the information we collect online.

The material submitted may also be used on our social media channels, including on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, and may be used by the media in reporting about this website.
We also produce memorials based on information already in the public domain. i.e. those published in the news or on public social media pages. The information is owned by the authors.
