Tharmaselvi Selvaduray, 56, died at Hospital Sungai Buloh on May 19, 2021. She leaves behind her husband and 16-year-old son. She worked as a telephonist at the Star Media Group from 1994 to 2007. She was described as a friend, sister and "an amazing human being". "Selvi was so genial, she had the ability to turn a bad day into a pleasant one," a former colleague recalled.
