Lai Lian Tee, 80, died on September 26, 2021. She and her husband, Voon Chee Ping, were diagnosed with Covid-19 and were admitted to hospital on September 11. She passed away due to complications from cancer as well as Covid-19. One week later, her husband succumbed to Covid-19 after battling for a month.
