Najwa Nadhirah Zainudin, 26, died on Oct 7, 2021, after several weeks of battling Covid-19 in the intensive care unit of Hospital Sultanah Aminah, Johor Bahru. She was an assistant medical officer at Pekan Nenas Pontian. She was also known as Wawa. She was a wife, sister and daughter. Her sister Nurin Nasuha wrote: "I pray that you are at peace and that your every goodness and beautiful soul are remembered by all who know you. "I'm so sorry, Kakak. I love you so much. I will miss you - your smile, your cheekiness. Everything about you."
