About Romli Saad
Romli Saad, 56, died of Covid-19 at Hospital Sungai Petani, Kedah, Oct 2, 2021. This was less than two months after his wife, Normala Mad Desa, 45, died of brain cancer. The couple left behind two teenage daughters - Nur Amanina Hazwani, 15, and Nur Amera Natasya, 13. Following their parents' death, the girls live at an orphanage at Perdana Heights, Sungai Petani. Speaking to Astro Awani, Nur Amanina shares about their parents: "Ayah was very kind. He was never angry, always nice. Mak was the same. She would let us go anywhere we want, give us anything we wanted. We really feel their loss."
