About Chandrakala
Chandrakala died of Covid-19 on Aug 21, 2021, four months after her husband, who died of other causes. The couple left behind three school-going children, in the care of their grandmother. Chandrakala's daughter S Mahalethchimy said she never imagined losing both parents in such a short time. "Although we are sad, we have to learn to accept this."
