About Kee Phaik Cheen
Kee Phaik Cheen, 74, died at 2.40pm on Aug 4, 2021. She was Penang executive council member for culture, arts, tourism and women's development from 1990 to 2004. She also served as Batu Uban assemblyperson from 1986 to 2004, and is remembered for raising the profile of Penang tourism and heritage as the vice president of Tourism Malaysia.
