About Leonard Hsing Yin Shean
Leonard Hsing Yin Shean, 69, died at Hospital Queen Elizabeth, Kota Kinabalu on June 1, 2021. He is survived by his wife Heliew Corneleus and daughter Sonia Hsing Shiang Nee. He was former Tanjung Aru Member of Parliament, first winning the seat at the age of 26 in 1986. He held it for one term. He remained an active member of the DAP and helped distribute food aid in Kota Kinabalu for those whose livelihoods were affected by Covid-19. The DAP said his death was a loss to the party and the state of Sabah.
