About Mohd Rum Anwar
Mohd Rum Anuar, 70, died of Covid-19 at Hospital Shah Alam on June 21, 2021. His family said he was infected at the hospital after being admitted for a tumour removal operation. Five of his family members, including his three sons who took care of him at the hospital, were also infected. Mohd Rum was a researcher for the Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (Mardi).
