About Eng Lim Kooi
Eng Lim Kooi, 64, died on July 4, 2021. He is remembered as a good friend and was a very popular man. He was an accomplished badminton shuttler in his youth. He represented his school team at the state level badminton tournament and went on to play for Selangor. He was one of two brothers, who attended La Salle Petaling Jaya. Eng Lim Kooi was part of the Class of 1974. He remained close with his schoolmates and often met up with them. He was retired as a manager with United Overseas Bank and was also attached with Stamford College Group. He is survived by his wife, Elsie. His fellow Lasallians wrote: "May the Almighty bless the soul of our brother Lasallian with peace, as well as keep his family and friends safe."
